support@mathscroll.appCommon questions
How do I unlock an app?
Open the locked app and tap the button on the MathScroll screen. MathScroll sends you a notification; tap it to start. Solve the problems, and you earn minutes in that app. You choose how many problems and minutes in MathScroll → Apps tab → Unlock rules.
My apps aren’t being locked
- Locking needs MathScroll Pro. Check MathScroll → Apps tab → MathScroll Pro.
- Make sure MathScroll still has Screen Time access in iOS Settings → Screen Time.
- Check that the apps are picked in MathScroll → Apps tab → Blocked apps.
- Screen Time can be slow to apply changes. Close the app you’re testing and open it again.
I don’t get the notification when I tap the button
MathScroll uses a notification to bring you back to the app. Turn on notifications for MathScroll in iOS Settings → Notifications → MathScroll, and check that a Focus mode isn’t silencing it.
How do I stop locking an app?
Go to MathScroll → Apps tab → Blocked apps and deselect it. To stop everything, delete MathScroll. Its locks go with it.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open iOS Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions → MathScroll → Cancel Subscription. You can also get there from MathScroll → Apps tab → MathScroll Pro. Cancel at least 24 hours before your trial or billing period ends to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel the subscription.
I paid, but the app doesn’t show Pro
Open the paywall and tap Restore. Make sure you’re signed in to the same Apple Account you bought with. This also works on a new iPhone or after reinstalling.
Can I get a refund?
Apple handles every payment, so refunds go through Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Can MathScroll see which apps I use?
No. Apple’s Screen Time gives MathScroll anonymous tokens instead of app names, and they never leave your iPhone. See our Privacy Policy.
Do I need an account?
No. There’s no sign-up. Your purchase is tied to your Apple Account, and your progress stays on your iPhone.
